Phillips Mansion & Currier Home
Sunday, April 28, 2024: The Phillips Mansion & Currier House
Come in and see the home everyone has been talking about! Built in 1875, with piped gas for heat and lights, the Phillips Mansion was the first red brick building built anywhere near the Pomona Valley! With a ground floor full of period furniture, antiques, and artifacts, this beautiful building is a must see.
The Currier House is not yet furnished, but is a stunning example of craftsmanship and period architecture now conveniently located at the same property! See the home of the first local state senator who served that office in 1889, Mr. Alvin T. Currier! Yes, these are the Phillips and Currier that have blocks named after them in downtown Los Angeles.

Sunday, May 05, 2024: The Palomares Adobe Museum & Gift Shop
The Palomares Adobe is the larger home that the Palomares Family built while living in the Casa Primera! It's furnished and decorated with period antiques and artifacts, several of which are from the Palomares Family. This tour also includes religious artifacts from the first Catholic Chapel in the Pomona Valley that started in the Vejar Adobe, including two newly restored paintings from the 1750's!
Sunday, May 12, 2024: The Barbara Greenwood Kindergarten
The Barbara Greenwood Kindergarten building is a lovely craftsman built to suit the smaller stature of younger students! Barbara Greenwood introduced the concept of teaching younger children in ways designed for them to the American school system, and this building showcases that concept with lower windows, lower sinks, and a variety of artifacts and antiques from previous education models.

Sunday, May 26, 2024: The Spadra Cemetery
Daytime Tours
The historic Spadra Cemetery is one of the oldest cemeteries in the Pomona Valley! Filled with people who headed west in a hurry, and the people who followed, this cemetery tour ties together the stories of the Phillips Mansion, the Currier Home, and the expansive Rubottom Family.

Sunday, June 02, 2024: The Casa Primera
See the adobe that the Palomares family was living in while they built the larger Palomares Adobe! It's furnished and decorated with period antiques and artifacts, and it has lovely grounds.

Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM!
Admission at this site is donation based, no ticket needed.
